Tea For Two at Moulin De Paris
I went with a fellow Patch editor for tea at Moulin De Paris and enjoyed a delicious lunch and great tea.
For those of you who don’t know, our former Glen Burnie Patch editor, Maya T. Prabhu, .
Maya and I were good friends so I was happy for her accomplishments, but sad to see her go. However, before she left for South Carolina, she needed to use up the mass-amount of Living Social deals she collected—including Moulin De Paris in Pasadena.
I was happy to help her out.

So off we went for afternoon tea. More of a sports bar girl myself—not much of an afternoon tea-goer—I wasn’t sure what to expect from Moulin De Paris, but I was pleasantly surprised.
They have a wide selection of teas and after much debate—and some guidance from the friendly waitress—I decided on Berry Jamboree. This particular tea was especially fruity and featured blackberry, strawberry and raspberry mélange.

Now, I am much more of a coffee enthusiast than a tea girl, but this particular tea was so good, and I drank the entire pot.
Since we had the Living Social deal, we decided to spring for the High Tea and Afternoon Tea, which came with a choice of soup, a delicious mango salad, and a three-tier tray of treats—all of which were fantastic.
The tray featured shrimp cocktail and various finger sandwiches, including a chicken salad, which was my favorite. The second layer had some of the most delicious scones I have ever had, which were still warm. And the bottom layer featured small dessert samples, with chocolate covered strawberries and fruit tarts.
The atmosphere at Moulin De Paris is very nice. Each table setting comes with your own tea pot and cup, complete with fancy napkins. And the staff is polite and courteous; with a solid knowledge of the products they serve.
I would happily return to Moulin De Paris again. I hope to find another Living Social deal soon so I can take my mom. It truly was a delightful afternoon for this sports bar girl—maybe I am changing my ways?
Probably not, but it was delicious!
