UM BWMC Opens Newly Renovated Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Newly Renovated Unit Opened for Patient Procedures Monday, September 9
On Monday, September 9, UM BWMC's renovated cardiac catheterization laboratory opened for patient procedures. In April, work began on a new cardiac catheterization laboratory which replaces a General Electric version with a new state-of-the-art Siemens Catheterization model. The upgrade includes the latest technology which features optimum imaging when performing procedures on patients. New flooring, ceilings and cabinetry were also replaced in the original lab.
