The man is facing multiple charges following the Tuesday incident, police said.

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MD — A Virginia man is facing charges after authorities said he crashed into an Anne Arundel County police cruiser with a stolen car.

According to authorities, the incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday after police received a call about a stolen Acura in the area of Route 198 and Russett Green East.

An officer later located the vehicle in the 3500 block of Russett Green East, prompting the driver — identified as Jayden Munroe Inabinet, 21, of Fredericksburg — to flee the area, police said. As he fled, police said Inabinet struck an officer's vehicle with the Acura.
