Crosstown rivals and will meet on the lacrosse field Friday with Pasadena bragging rights up for grabs.

In anticipation of the matchup, members of both the Cougars and Eagles girls lacrosse teams spoke out about the rivalry, the tradition and the anticipation.

While the winner of the ‘Dena Bowl won’t be decided until Friday, one thing is clear: Each team thinks they have what it takes to become Pasadena’s top lacrosse team.

The girls' game will take place at Chesapeake on Friday at 5 p.m. The boys' game will follow at 7 p.m. Check back on Patch for complete coverage of the games.
