Lake Waterford Park is home to everything from cheerleaders and football players with the Pasadena Chargers to a large playground and a wide variety of plants.
Operated by the Anne Arundel County Department of Recreation and Parks, the facility is on the corner of Pasadena Road and Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard. It spans 108 acres and includes a 12-acre lake, according to the AAC web site.
The park has three pavilions for groups and they are reserved in advance. There are also trails for hiking and facilities for tennis, softball, football and basketball.

The adaptive recreation athletic field offers space for recreation and parks-sponsored sports.
The park is open year-round, except on Christmas and Thanksgiving.
