Woman Dies In Pasadena Crash, Police Find Evidence Of Drug Usage On Scene: Officers

A woman died in a Pasadena crash, police said. Officers reported finding evidence of drug usage on the scene.

PASADENA, MD — Police said a woman died Monday in a Pasadena crash. Officers identified the victim as 33-year-old Tina Marie Brautigan of Orchard Beach.

Authorities reported finding evidence of drug usage on the scene. Officials noted that toxicology and autopsy results are pending.

An incident report added that the accident happened around 2:50 p.m. on eastbound Maryland Route 100, west of Catherine Avenue. Brautigan was driving a 2020 Dodge Caravan that left the roadway and hit several trees, the write-up explained. Witnesses told officers that the van "was being operated in a negligent manner," the press release informed.

Medics pronounced Brautigan dead on the scene, authorities mentioned. The Anne Arundel County Police Department listed the cause of the wreck as "the driver failing to drive within a single lane." The agency indicated that it is still investigating.
