The Relay Improvement Association will sponsor the annual Relay Day Festival on September 21, 2014 from Noon 'til 5:00 p.m. at the Relay Town Hall, 1710 Arlington Avenue. Admission is free and will include live music (O Street Band), magic show by D's Magic (Mr. Dave Thomen), karaoke contest, face painting, children's games, including sack races, the ever-popular pie-eating contest, and more.   In addition, there will be items for sale such as food, drinks, and local artisan vendors.  Prizes are awarded for two of our favorite contests:  At noon there will be a Bike and Trike Decorating Contest Parade.  Decorate a bike or trike and bring to the Town Hall parking lot.  Contest categories include Most Patriotic, Most Original and Funniest.  Or at 1:45 p.m., you can enter a favorite pooch in the Dog Costume Contest.  Costume categories include Funniest, Most Original and Best in Show.  Please join us for a fun-filled day!  There is something for everyone at the festival - so bring the whole family!  Like us on Facebook as well to get additional updatesProceeds are used to maintain the Relay Town Hall, circa 1910.
