The Arc Baltimore Honors Pixilated

The Arc Baltimore has presented a Special Appreciation Award to Pixilated Photo Booth.

The premier open air photo booth experience serving Baltimore, Washington DC, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas, Pixilated Photo Booth sponsored The Arc’s Art in the Round in 2014 and introduced a whole new element to the event. Their donated photo booth services were a huge hit with The Arc’s guests.

The following year, Pixilated opened up a pop-up space and art gallery in Federal Hill. When The Arc Baltimore asked if they would consider an installation of about a dozen of the selected pieces for the 2015 Art in the Round exhibit, they readily agreed. Pixilated promoted the exhibit and hosted an opening night social to kick off the two-week run of the installation. Several of the artists attended the opening night and were able to discuss their work with guests.

Pixilated also hosted a podcast with the staff from The Arc to discuss the event, as well as the many other programs and services that The Arc provides. This added exposure for the Art in the Round event was a unique opportunity to showcase the talent and artistry of individuals with developmental disabilities in the community.
