Health & Fitness

Angst-Monger University

Review of current "bloglet" conversations on various political subjects, leads me to believe that this blog might be an acceptable "fit."

Let us just begin with the word…Hate…..to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward.

I perceive the word to be currently bantered about so much it is beginning to lose its true meaning…. perhaps the victim of a rather huge display of what I will refer to as Angst-Mongering.

Ja ever (my new Tweet language honey child) get the feeling that when free speech appears on the horizon lately, significant cloudiness seems to descend out of nowhere, and with a most definite focus.  Twisting and turning of words and meaning to promote silence and Angst!!!   Words are twisted and dissected via Angst-Mongering to lean heavily on accusations of Hate.  Without interpreting “concerns” as “hate” Angst-Mongers seem to have little to talk about.  And so these souls  search constantly, at every opportunity, for ways to promote angst.

One way, of course, especially in the political theatre, is to level deliberate accusations at citizens who step forward to declare their constitutional rights to question and articulate concerns.  It would appear that those promoting Angst-Mongering  take  little notice of fact, but consistently seek opportunity to manipulate, desecrate common sense with focus on humiliation of cohesive thought and consciousness.  Rather than fair debate, a type of smirkiness  filters through that taints the discussion rather quickly.   And that, of course is another exact focus of the Angst darlings…. extending the smirk….extends the angst---especially anything whatsoever related to politics.  Yikes!!!

To graduate from Angst Monger U, one must be sure to keep the following words embedded in one’s vocabulary:  Bigot, Dimwit, Hate, Racism, etc. to insure vitriolic flavor.     When graduates are faced with debate regarding citizens’ political concerns, you will find that all H E L L breaks loose and the important issue of concern becomes lost in so much vitriolic gobbledegook  that the specific concerns become clouded over…and the initial effort suddenly is out there somewhere swinging in the wind….another exact focus  of Angst-Monger U  maneuvering.

And so, it is my perception that when these angels respond to political  debate/conversations,  their calling card is easily recognized ….speckled again with words like Hate, Racist, Bigot, Loons, etc., -  leaving little doubt that the Angst-Monger U graduate has entered the picture with a loving array of vitriolic pronouncements—probably to throw any thought of balance into total disarray.   Whew -  it gets to tiresome, doesn’t it?

So friends and neighbors, I perceive that one should concentrate on taking the high road when addressing concerns of any type-especially political in nature and no matter what side of the political aisle your preference might happen to be.  The Angst-Monger may try to keep up, but when you take the high road,  these little angels will find it more and more difficult to avoid tripping, and that is a very good thing, honey child.  And then – just maybe – common sense will prevail and needed solutions discovered.  Won’t that be a kick?  Just another perception of a retired worker bee!!
