The Lansdowne Christian Church/ Hull Memorial will hold a Memorial Day Service this Sunday at 10:00 am. The church is located at 101 Clyde Avenue in Lansdowne.
The Hull Memorial is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places and is part of the Maryland Civil War Trail.
The Hull Memorial was built in 1903 by Mr. Charles Hull, a veteran of the Union Army in remembrance of his comrades who served in the Grand Army of the Republic.

This year marks the 106th anniversary of Memorial Day services at the Lansdowne Christian Church/ Hull Memorial.
Representatives of the Women's Relief Auxilary will be represented. This organization of women was dedicated to serving the Union Veterans of the Civil War.

The service will begin at 10:00 am on Sunday. The guest speaker will be Mr. William Proctor, Commander of American Legion Post 195.
Light refreshments will be served on the patio after the service, music will be performed as well.
