The Community Fair was held at Hillcrest Park in Lansdowne this past Saturday. The clouds and rain occurring during the week transformed into a sunny day with a beautiful blue sky and puffy amazing clouds.
Community organizations, churches and buinesses were on hand. The Lansdowne Volunteer Fire Department sold food, events were held throughout the day for the children. Games, music, face painting, ballooons... everything you could want to make a wonderful day for the children and the adults as well!!!
Thanks are in order to Brenda Harney and all the members of the Southwest Leadership Team for once again providing an opportunity for the community to come together. It was so nice to see all the smiling faces.

Lansdowne is my hometown, and there are many very hard working folks committed to making it a safe, clean, bonded community. There is work to be done.. but I believe that team work and cooperation are vital in order to bring success !!
Our hope is that more folks will get involved and help in whatever way they can :)
