Text Your Vote for the Next American President!
Who is to blame for the lemming mentality of today's public? They seek out nothing for themselves and will follow the next person off a cliff if the media tells them to do so.
Although our country's situation is far from entertaining, reaching today's public is almost like soliciting little children. They are so spoiled by the freedom and welfare of our great nation that they don't feel the necessity to mind it or maintain it. For many, it requires turning their responsibilities as citizens into a game to get them to participate. For example, Fox News offering contests & prizes for people to tune in and Donald Trump using his reality-show-personality to draw the public's attention.
If Trump runs for President, I would venture to guess that a lot of our uninformed public will begin watching. America loves a good show and I think he could lure a good portion of that couch-potato populous towards the political side. Who's political side? Who cares? They're watching! Open the phone lines for voting and add a few more contestants...err, i mean, candidates. Perhaps Charlie Sheen and Superman (no, wait. he renounced his U.S. Citizenship.) See how many people tune in.
It's sad how much of a joke we've become. Unless the next generation snaps out of it, our country will soon be run by Fred. (i ♥ fred)
