Buckle Up for the Worst Potholes in Baltimore County

We asked Patch Readers which streets have the most bumps, divots and craters in their area.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD--Nothing puts a dent in a morning commute like bad traffic and a street littered with potholes.

Blizzard 2016 left monumental snowfalls up and down the east coast, and Baltimore County was not immune to its wrath.

Large snowfalls compiled with El Niño induced warmer temperatures have caused more potholes and road problems than most motorists can stomach.

Patch Readers gave us a rundown of particularly pocked streets in their neighborhoods. Here are some spots that might be worth detouring:

  • “Bel Air rd. @ The Shell gas station I think it is..... It’s a bit after honeygo Blvd.”
  • “Weber Avenue off of Hopkin’s Landing Dr. The school Bus Drivers and Attendants are fed up with this lumpy, bumpy, potholey road. The County keeps giving us the same old excuse for why they don’t grade and re-blacktop it, “your bus lot is moving to another location so we won’t be making any repairs or replacement of the roadway”. Horse hockey! We have not moved nor do we have a new location to house our 120+ buses, trailer, tool shack, mechanic pad & service truck or personal passenger vehicles for each of the Drivers and Attendants! Enough of the excuses already, fix the darned road!!!”
  • “Joppa rd”
  • “Ebenezer road in several areas, one of which is right past Vincent Farm Elementary heading towards rt 40. But the absolute worst road is Providence Rd, from Joppa Rd all the way up to the Beltway exit, multiple spots.”
  • “Link ave but its fixed now”
  • “Everywhere!!!!!!!”
