A Linthicum Heights man is accused in the fatal hit-and-run crash near the Baltimore-Anne Arundel line, police say.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Officials say they have charged a man believed to have been driving the vehicle that hit and killed a Glen Burnie man earlier this week before leaving the scene. A Buick LeSabre with front-end damage matching the description of the suspect vehicle was found in the block where the alleged driver resides, police said.
Lloyd Edward Willey, 62, of the 700 block of Wedeman Avenue in Linthicum Heights, was charged with failure to remain at the scene of an accident involving death, among other offenses, late Wednesday night. He was also driving without a license, police said.
Investigators found Willey's 1997 Buick LeSabre abandoned and without tags in the 700 block of Wedeman Avenue. The teal vehicle had extensive damage to the front grill, hood and windshield and was missing its Buick emblem, police reported.

Thomas Fisher, 35, of no fixed address in Glen Burnie, was found lying in the southbound lane of Annapolis Road north of Hoffman Avenue by a driver who called 911 at 10:41 p.m. on Tuesday, police said.
Although emergency personnel tried to render life-saving care, police said Fisher was taken to Saint Agnes Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Previously, police had asked the public for information in the case and released a description of the vehicle, which authorities said ultimately led them to the suspect. The vehicle was described as a 1997 to 1999 Buick LeSabre missing the Buick emblem that also had front-end damage in the center of the grill area as well as a cracked/shattered windshield and dents or other damage on the hood.
The Baltimore County State's Attorney's Office is reviewing the case, and Willey is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center as of Thursday.
