Crash on MD 295 Causing Delays

A crash reportedly involving jackknifed tractor-trailer snarled traffic Friday near I-695.

LINTHICUM, MD — A crash was causing slowdowns on part of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway Friday afternoon in the area of Interstate 695.

The three-vehicle crash was reported at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Friday on MD 295 north at I-695, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART). At least one person was said to be injured.

The crash involved a jackknifed tractor-trailer, Baltimore emergency management officials report.

Temporarily, traffic was only getting by in the left lane; but after 2:20 p.m., the crash was moved to the right shoulder and deceleration lane.
