Police ID Homicide Victim Found Near Baltimore County-City Line

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD - A man found fatally shot near the Baltimore City-County line is believed to have been targeted in a crime that police said was not random.

Kavon Terrell Washington, 32, of the 1500 block of North Luzerne Avenue, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the area of Stanley Road and Rosalie Road on Wednesday, Aug. 2, according to authorities.

Multiple reports had come in about a man lying near the curb after 4:30 p.m. that day, the Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement.

Washington was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.

His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for a determination regarding the cause and manner of his death.
