If you intend to enter your car in a race, be sure it meets all the requirements. In most cases, the frame and body have to be made of wood and not be more than 72 inches long and 30 inches high. Sometimes racers are covered. All cars must be steered with a steering wheel. Wheels for a racer must be rubber-tired and not more than 12 inches across. The wheels must be at least 30 inches apart.
