Four Hospitalized, One Dead in I-95 Crash: Police
The victim in the fatal collision had been standing on the shoulder near a disabled pickup truck, Maryland State Police reported.

One man died and four were hospitalized after a crash on Interstate 95 Tuesday evening in Baltimore County, according to Maryland State Police.
Ever Mauricio Osorio Fajardo, 29, of Hyattsville, was hit by a car on the shoulder of I-95 south and pronounced dead at the scene, police reported. Three people inside the truck were hospitalized, according to the report.
Fajardo had been a passenger in a pickup truck that became disabled on I-95 south in the area north of the exit for I-195, according to the report.

Kevin Beard, 53, of Laurel, was the driver of the Sebring, according to the report. Beard was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment, the report said.
Police said it was unclear what caused Beard to travel across southbound I-95 onto the shoulder, where he hit a concrete wall and continued on for nearly 200 feet before crashing into the parked pickup truck and Fajardo, who was standing behind it.
The Baltimore County State’s Attorney’s Office was briefed on the incident, and the investigation into the collision was continuing, police said Wednesday.
The 29-year-old driver of the pickup truck was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment, while two other passengers—a 23-year-old and 36-year-old— were being treated at St. Agnes Hospital, according to police.
