Homicide Near Lansdowne Under Investigation: Police

A homicide is under investigation near Landsdowne after a man was found deceased inside a home Wednesday afternoon, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

A woman who was upstairs in a residence in the 400 block of Bigley Avenue told authorities that she heard a commotion downstairs and found the man injured, police reported.

First responders were dispatched to the home at 3:13 p.m. for a cardiac arrest and when they arrived, the woman directed them to the man, who had suffered traumatic injuries and was pronounced deceased, according to the report.

Authorities are investigating whether the homicide was random or targeted.

The woman is not considered a suspect at this time, Cpl. John Wachter said Wednesday night.
