Monkton Man Killed in Crash Near Reisterstown: Police

A Monkton man was killed near Reisterstown Saturday night in a crash that police say remains under investigation Sunday.

At approximately 6:39 p.m. on Saturday, a 1992 Honda Accord headed east crossed the center line in the 4200 block of Worthington Avenue, went off-road and hit a tree, according to Officer Shawn Vinson of the Baltimore County Police Department.

David Wesley Blizzard Jr., 34, of the 500 block of Monkton Road, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department.

Blizzard was the only person in the vehicle, the report said.

Officers said Sunday night that they were still working to determine what may have caused the crash.
