Overturned Tractor-Trailer Prompted Closure of I-695 Ramps
The crash on Friday afternoon happened at southwestern I-695/I-95 interchange.

A tractor-trailer that was reportedly carrying trash bags was involved in a crash Friday that closed a major artery in southwestern Baltimore County for several hours.
At 12:45 p.m. on Friday, a tractor-trailer loaded with trash bags overturned on the exit ramp from Interstate 95 south to the inner loop of I-695, The Baltimore Sun reported.
Both ramps from I-95 to the I-695 inner loop were closed for several hours so that the bags could be removed from the vehicle, according to WJZ.

Nobody was injured, and no fuel was spilled, according to WUSA 9, which reported the tractor-trailer was extremely damaged.
The ramp from I-95 north to the inner loop of I-695 reopened after 5 p.m., according to the Baltimore Office of Emergency Management.

By 6:30 p.m., all lanes were back open near the I-95/I-695 interchange, the State Highway Administration reported.
