Woman Found Dead in Lansdowne Toddler's Home: Police

The Baltimore County Police Department is investigating a death in Lansdowne that is connected to a missing toddler, officials said.

Brittany Jackson was found deceased Monday morning in the her home in the 2900 block of Freeway, police reported.

Her 3-year-old daughter—Jaycia—was found in the CVS parking lot in the 3900 block of Hollins Ferry Road before 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, according to police.

Authorities received information after 9 a.m. on Monday that the toddler lived in the 2900 block of Freeway, where a woman was deceased, police reported.

Homicide detectives were conducting a death investigation, according to police, who said there were no obvious signs of foul play in the death of Brittany Jackson.

There was some blood on Jaycia’s clothing and on her mother, according to police.

Authorities have turned the girl over to Baltimore County Social Services, police reported Monday morning.
