Shooting in Alley Sends One to Hospital: Police

A man was shot Friday night in the Riverview area in what police said was an apparent street robbery. He is expected to survive, police reported.

The shooting occurred in an alley between Rambo Court and 5th Avenue, police said.

The 35-year-old victim may have been targeted, and the two suspects ran away after the shooting, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Responding officers found the victim had been shot at least once in the upper body during a street robbery, the report said. He was taken to an area hospital and is expected to survive his injuries, according to the report.
