Threat Of Shooting At Lansdowne High Under Investigation

BREAKING: Police said a Snapchat message threatened a shooting Friday at Lansdowne High School.

LANSDOWNE, MD — A threat of a possible shooting at Lansdowne High School on Friday is under investigation, authorities say. The threat is believed to be unsubstantiated, police reported before 9 a.m.

The threat came through Snapchat, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

It is the latest in a series of potential school threats circulating over social media this week that have led to police investigations. Several schools in Harford County have investigated threats, including one on Thursday via Snapchat as well. All have been deemed unfounded.
