Woman Missing Under 'Suspicious Circumstances': Baltimore Co. PD

A woman who lives near Lansdowne has not been heard from since Tuesday, March 19, Baltimore County police reported.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A woman disappeared under "suspicious circumstances" recently in Baltimore County, police reported on Wednesday, March 27. She has not been on social media, has not been using a cell phone and has had no contact with her family, according to authorities.

Denise Carter, 30, left home on Lakebrook Circle on Tuesday, March 19, "under suspicious circumstances and has not returned," the Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement.

"She told family she had to run out for a minute but never returned," according to police.

Carter is known to frequent Baltimore City and the Garrison area of Baltimore County, officials said.

She has shoulder-length hair that is in black and red braids. Carter is about 5 feet tall and 115 pounds, officials reported, and when last seen she was wearing a yellow shirt with blue jeans.
