BALTIMORE, MD — Sportswear company Under Armour plans to close its office in Portland, Oregon, and relocate operations and most employees to its Baltimore headquarters, according to a report.
Under Armour said operations from the closing office will be redistributed among its Baltimore headquarters, its New York offices and a planned smaller office in Portland, The Baltimore Sun reported.
Of the approximately 60 people who work in the Portland office, only a “handful” will lose their roles, the company said, but most have been relocated.
Under Armour, founded by a University of Maryland alumnus, is headquartered on the Baltimore Peninsula in a five-story, 280,000-square-foot building.
