The officer avoided serious injury, and the driver now faces first- and second-degree assault and related charges announced by the Baltimore City State's Attorney.

Man convicted of sex crime involving minor wanted in Baltimore City and County (foxbaltimore.com) β€” Federal and local authorities are asking Baltimore residents for help locating a convicted sex offender wanted in both Baltimore City and Baltimore County for repeatedly failing to register. Investigators say the man, whose criminal history here spans years, is believed to frequent the Lexington Market area and is considered a public safety concern. Anyone with information is urged to contact the U.S. Marshals Service.
