BALTIMORE, MD — A Parkville woman is calling for justice after a driver fled the scene after striking her with an SUV in Baltimore, according to a report.
The hit-and-run occurred as 26-year-old paralegal Riah Luby was making her way across a crosswalk at the intersection of Charles and Fayette streets on Sept. 3.
Luby told The Banner that she was on her way to work when the impact of the hit momentarily sent her airborne. Although the driver was seen on surveillance footage pulling over and stepping out of the vehicle, they promptly left the scene after inspecting the car and briefly looking back at Luby.
