1 Arrested After Failed Traffic Stop On Route 22: Harford Sheriff
A driver attempting to make a getaway from deputies Friday afternoon on Churchville Road ended up arrested, authorities said.

BEL AIR, MD — One person was arrested after a traffic stop gone awry on MD 22/Churchville Road Friday afternoon, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. There was a crash that followed the attempted traffic stop, officials said, and two people were hospitalized as a result.
The incident began at 12:52 p.m. on Friday, March 8, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies had attempted to stop a vehicle in the area of Route 22 at Tredmore Road when the driver tried to get away and ended up hitting another vehicle, officials reported.

Route 22 was closed between Moores Mill Road and Tredmore Road until approximately 3:10 p.m. on Friday as a result, according to state transportation officials.
The suspect was taken into custody, and two people were hospitalized as a precautionary measure, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported.
