1 Missing After Fire, Explosion At Bel Air Home: Authorities

BEL AIR, MD — Authorities are searching for at least one person Saturday following an explosion and fire at a Bel Air home.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office said authorities were able to locate the home's two owners after the two-alarm fire left an extensive amount of debris.

Crews are using excavation equipment to remove the debris, authorities said.

Authorities are still determining the origin and cause of the fire, authorities said. It's unclear when the fire started or when authorities first responded.

The Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company and ATF Baltimore are assisting with the investigation.
