1-Year Anniversary Party Planned in Festival at Bel Air
The Bel Air Scout Shop invites the public to its celebration this weekend.

Elected officials and scouts will be in attendance this weekend to mark the Bel Air Scout Shop’s one-year anniversary in the Festval at Bel Air shopping center.
Inside the store, scouts can find camping gear; insignias and patches; uniforms for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing and leaders; as well as scrapbooks and many other items.
The shop opened in the Festival at Bel Air last September.

To celebrate its one-year anniversary, the Baltimore Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Baltimore Area Scout Executive Brian Steger, Delegate Kathy Szeliga, State Senator J.B. Jennings and Sheriff Jesse Bane will be on hand for a ribbon-cutting at the shop.
There will be giveaways and door prizes as well as cake-making classes, according to a statement from the Baltimore Area Council.

The event will be free and open to the public. The celebration is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bel Air Scout Shop in the Festival at Bel Air shopping center, 5 Bel Air South Parkway, Suite J1009.
