10 Celebrations In Bel Air For St. Patrick's Day Weekend
Irish breakfast, green beer and live music all weekend are on tap at these Bel Air area establishments.

BEL AIR, MD — St. Patrick's Day is on a Friday this year, and the festivities continue in many cases through the weekend. Grab your green and check out these area hotspots in and around Bel Air.

510 Johnny's, 510 Marketplace Dr., Bel Air
The festivities started Thursday night and continue through Sunday evening. There's an egg and potatoes breakfast from 8-11 a.m. Friday and 9-11 a.m. Saturday. An outdoor heated tent opens at noon Friday. Live music is scheduled throughout the weekend, including Ballyhoo! on Friday and Jah Works on Saturday. Wristbands for the entire weekend are available for $25, including a T-shirt, festive cup and $1 off all draft beers all weekend.

Bushmill Tavern, 4017 Philadelphia Rd., Abingdon
There’s a special St. Patrick’s Day menu with items like Guinness beef and potato stew as well as a host of Irish drink specials.
Della Rose's Local Tavern, 588 Baltimore Pike, Bel Air
Doors open at 8 a.m. on Friday for Irish breakfast. There will be live entertainment and food specials all day, like Celtic egg rolls and lamb stew. Drink specials include Independent Irish red for $5 and $4 Heavy Seas pounder cans, among others.

Hickory Lodge, 2119 Conowingo Rd., Bel Air
Live music is on tap Friday plus $3 Guinness, $5 Irish car bombs and $5 Jameson Irish crush. There are some special Irish menu items, like shepherd's pie and Bailey's Irish bread pudding.
Independent Brewing Company, 418 N. Main St., Bel Air
There will be a "musical happy hour" with an Irish theme from 4-7 p.m. on Friday. Box Turtle Bob will be in the taproom, and Irish red beer will be flowing. Bagpipes will also be playing.
Looney's Pub, 312 S. Main St., Bel Air
The celebration spans three days at Looney's. The pub opens at 8 a.m. on Friday, with a breakfast buffet from 8–10 a.m. Looney's opens at 10 a.m. on Saturday, with Irish brunch from 10 a.m.–1 p.m. Live music is planned throughout the weekend. There will be large heated tents, a photo booth, several beer gardens and a shuttle to get home.
MaGerk's, 120 S. Bond St., Bel Air
On Friday MaGerk's opens at 8 a.m., and the St. Patrick's Day festivities continue through Saturday. There will be food and drink specials, including Jameson, Guinness and Independent Brewing Company's Irish red, among many others. Live music will also be on tap.
Main Street Tower, 29 S. Main St., Bel Air
St. Patrick's Day kicks off at 8 a.m. Friday and runs through Sunday night at the Tower, with no cover for the weekend. There will be green beer on Friday, as well as drink specials all day on Malibu, Jameson, Irish car bombs, Guinness and others. Sean Bolan’s, 12 S. Main St., Bel Air
Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. on Friday, with corned beef hash, Grand Marnier French toast and other specials for St. Patrick's Day. Draft beer will be $2 from 8–11 a.m. and $4 from 11 a.m.–close. Patrons are asked to bring cash if possible.
Stone's Cove KitBar, 588 Baltimore Pike, Bel Air
Food and drink specials are on the menu Friday, including $1 green Miller Lite and $8 Jameson crushes. Bangers and grits, baked potato soup, Reuben flatbread and other items will also be available.
