$10K Damage To Shed Caused By Electrical Fire In Joppa: Official
A shed caught on fire in the yard of a Joppa home early Wednesday morning causing an estimated $10,000 in damage, a fire official stated.

JOPPA, MD — Shortly after 5 a.m. Wednesday, a fire broke out in an 8 x 10-foot shed near the home located at 223 Haverhill Rd. in Joppa.
According to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal, the owner found the fire burning inside the shed. The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company responded to the fire, which took the 10 firefighters five minutes to get under control.
The fire caused an estimated $10,000 in damage. The fire marshal's office has ruled the fire accidental due to an unspecified electrical failure.
