BEL AIR, MD — A Bel Air church has been designated a Harford County historic landmark.
Clark’s Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church has one of the oldest historically African American congregations in the Bel Air area, according to a statement from Harford County government.
Built between 1883 and 1855, the church drew a congregation of free and enslaved Black people.
