$150K Damage Sparked By Mobile Home Fire In Abingdon: State Fire Marshal

The Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a fire that caused $150,000 damage to a mobile home in Abingdon.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — A mobile home caught on fire Feb. 4 shortly after 3 p.m. Located in the 3700 block of Pulaski Highway in Abingdon, the mobile home sustained $150,000 in damage.

A neighbor detected the fire, which the Office of the State Fire Marshal said took half an hour for 40 firefighters to reign in. Officials believe the fire broke out in an interior bedroom.

The state fire marshal's office continues to investigate the fire.
