2 Bel Air Homes Evacuated After Private Drive Vanishes: Official

The shared driveway on a court in Bel Air washed away, and the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company came to the rescue.

BEL AIR, MD — Two homes were evacuated on Saturday morning with help from the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company. The driveway at the end of the road washed away, according to Rich Gardiner of the fire company.

The residents were assisted in getting out of Starmount Court, where the shared driveway had deteriorated, and Gardiner said they were now staying with friends and relatives.

Nobody was injured, and all got out safely, according to Gardiner.
