2 Charged In Edgewood Shooting
Two people were charged after a man was shot in Edgewood and taken by helicopter to shock trauma for treatment.

EDGEWOOD, MD — Two men were charged in a shooting Friday night in Edgewood that left a man in critical condition, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office. The victim was taken by medevac to shock trauma, officials reported Saturday.
Walter Clark, 24, and Eric McEady, 22, are being held without bail at the Harford County Detention Center, officials reported.
Deputies said they were called to the 400 block of Silverside Road at 7:29 p.m. on Friday, May 10, for a report of shots fired.

A man was lying on the ground next to a 2014 Scion tC, which had crashed into another vehicle in the area, according to authorities, who said he had been shot once in the upper body.
Investigators said that the 23-year-old man had been in the area when a man driving the Scion, started arguing with him, got out and fought him, which ended with the driver shooting him in the upper torso, officials said. Another person arrived in the midst of the altercation and tried to assist the gunman, according to authorities.

After the shooting, authorities said the victim got into the Scion and tried to escape.
The 23-year-old, who lives in the 2900 block of Ancon Court in Edgewood, was airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, and officials said Saturday he had been released.
Investigators identified the suspects, who were taken into custody.
Clark, of the 500 block of Arum Court, was charged with attempted first and second-degree murder, first and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, altering physical evidence at a crime scene, having a handgun in a vehicle, having a handgun on one's person, and using a firearm in a felony crime.
McEady, of the same address as Clark in the 500 block of Arum Court, is charged with three counts of being an accessory after the fact, altering physical evidence, having a handgun on his person and using a firearm in a felony crime.
Both Clark and McEady are being held without bail and have hearings for bail review scheduled for Monday, May 13.
