2 Drivers Killed In Head-On Crash Along Maryland Route 165: Maryland State Police
Both drivers were killed in a 2-car head-on crash Thursday morning. Route 165 was closed in both directions for about five hours, MSP said.
PYLESVILLE, MD — Two men died in a head-on collision that happened Thursday morning along Maryland Route 165.
Shortly before 8:30 a.m. April 11, troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack were called to Maryland Route 165 at St. Mary’s Road in Pylesville for a report of a multi-vehicle crash. According to a preliminary investigation, the driver of a a 2014 Chevy Equinox, for reasons under investigation, crossed over from the southbound lane into the northbound lane of traffic and crashed head on into a Toyota Tacoma, according to the MSP.
The driver of the Chevy, a 36-year-old man, and the driver of the Toyota, a 43-year-old man, were declared dead at the scene by Harford County emergency medical services personnel. There were no other passengers in either vehicle. The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The Maryland State Police Crash Team is investigating the incident. Route 165 was closed in both directions for about five hours following the crash.
