2 Fires, Crash In Harford County Sunday Draw Emergency Response

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Two fires and a crash were reported in Harford County Sunday that drew an emergency response from the Fallston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Company.

"FVFAC members have been busy today, Sunday March 21, 2021, with several multiple unit responses," the fire company reported.

  • Before 10 a.m., a garage fire broke out in the 4600 block of Long Green Road. The fire was contained after firefighters from Baltimore and Harford counties responded.
  • Before 2 p.m., multiple vehicles crashed on Belair Road at Reckord Road. Officials said all refused to be taken to the hospital by emergency medical personnel.
  • After 2:45 p.m. a woods fire broke out in the 1600 block of Boggs Road. Crews said they put out a small woods and brush fire.

The brush fire in Forest Hill was the second woods fire this week handled by Harford County firefighters.

A half-acre woods fire involving five vehicles in Street prompted crews from Bel Air and Darlington to respond to Sandy Hook Road on Monday, March 15, according to Bel Air firefighters.

Also over the weekend, a fire involving multiple vehiclesfire involving multiple vehicles drew crews from Joppa-Magnolia and Abingdon Saturday to Crazy Ray's in the 1700 block of Pulaski Highway in Edgewood.
