2 Hospitalized from Heat in Harford, Emergency Officials Say
With a heat advisory still in effect for Harford County on Sunday, first responders remind citizens to stay hydrated.

Two people were transported for medical treatment due to heat-related illnesses Saturday in Harford County, officials said.
One was from Mountain Branch Golf Course in Joppa and the other was at the Maryland BBQ Bash in Bel Air, according to Jenn Chenworth, spokeswoman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
"Neither patient is believed to have life threatening illness at this time," Chenworth said.

First responders had been called earlier in the day to the golf course in the 1800 block of Mountain Road, where the person refused treatment, but they were later recalled when the individual needed assistance, Chenworth said.
In addition, she said another person at the BBQ Bash was treated by medics for heat-related illness but was not transported.

Said Chenworth: "We can't say it enough, HYDRATE!!"
A heat advisory remains in effect from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday for Harford County.
