2 Stabbed in Edgewood Robbery Attempt: Sheriff

One stabbing victim was in critical condition while another had minor injuries; there's a reward for info.

Two people were stabbed Wednesday morning during a robbery in Edgewood, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities said that there was a struggle after two men demanded property from two other men.

At 2:40 a.m., deputies to a reported stabbing in the 800 block of Windstream Way and found two victims suffering from stab wounds.

Norvin Jones, 33, of Baltimore, was stabbed several times in the torso, officials reported. He was airlifted to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was listed in critical condition, according to the sheriff's office.

Shomare Anderson, 23, of Edgewood, had minor injuries to his hand and arms, officials said.

The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company treated Jones and Anderson at the scene.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Detective Chris Sergent at 410-836-5428.
