The 2020 ATHENA Leadership Awards to Be Presented on March 6

Proceeds from the event are used to fund the ATHENA Leadership Scholarship at Harford Community College.

The 2020 ATHENA Leadership Award Breakfast, presented by Harford Mutual Insurance, will be held on Friday, March 6, at 7:30 AM in the Richlin Ballroom. The ATHENA Leadership Award and ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award (a leader under 40 years of age) are presented to individuals who have demonstrated exemplary leadership in their careers and assisted the advancement of women in their professional communities.

Hosted by the Harford Community College Foundation, the ATHENA Leadership Award Breakfast is professionally affiliated with ATHENA International and offers widespread prestige to the honored finalists and recipients. Last year the event had a record attendance of 250 and it continues to grow. Open networking and a buffet breakfast are included with each ticket.

Proceeds from the event are used to fund the ATHENA Leadership Scholarship at Harford Community College, which is a $1,000 award for adult students returning to college. An additional $500 scholarship is funded through event proceeds and is awarded each year to a student who completes the Emerging Leaders program at the College.
