3 Ambulances, 1 Helicopter Called to Crash: JMVFC

The Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reports one person was rescued using jaws of life.

Authorities say three ambulances and a helicopter have been called to a crash on Old Joppa Road Friday evening.

The collision involved one vehicle and serious injuries, according to the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

One person was trapped in the vehicle and had to be rescued by first responders using the jaws of life, the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company reported. By approximately 6:30 p.m., the individual had been freed, the fire company reported.

Three ambulances and a Maryland State Police medevac were called to the scene, Joppa-Magnolia reported.

In addition to Joppa-Magnolia, crews from Fallston and Bel Air responded to Old Joppa Road, where the crash occurred between Janice Court and Twin Brook Lane, according to the fire company.
