3 Ambulances Called to Tollgate Crash: Officials

There was a collision with multiple patients near Harford Mall on Wednesday, emergency personnel reported.

BEL AIR, MD - Several ambulances were called to a crash near Harford Mall Wednesday afternoon.

The collision occurred in the 300 block of North Tollgate Road, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

Three ambulances were called to the crash, Gardiner said at approximately 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Roads were slick Wednesday afternoon across Harford, where Gardiner reported there were multiple crashes.

A crash reportedly involving a tractor-trailer also drew first responders to Interstate 95 near Aberdeen, Gardiner said. Transportation officials reported there was a three-vehicle crash snarling traffic on I-95 south before the exit for MD 543. The crash occurred just after 3:30 p.m.

In addition, an 18-year-old pedestrian was hit on Hansen Road before 3 p.m. near Harford Square Drive in Edgewood, according to the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company.
