3 Fires In Harford County In 12 Hours: Fire Officials
Officials say a greenhouse, garage and house fire were reported this weekend in Harford County.
HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Authorities say three fires broke out in Harford County in a matter of 12 hours over the weekend. The latest was at a greenhouse off MD 543 on Sunday morning.
Before 6:30 a.m.on Sunday, firefighters were dispatched to a greenhouse fire on MD 543 at Prospect Road in Street, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Some of the firefighters who responded to the greenhouse blaze had just helped fight a garage fire on Grimm Road in Jarrettsville, Gardiner said. That fire broke out before 3 a.m. and was placed under control in 30 minutes. Firefighters from Harford County joined other volunteers from York in Pennsylvania there, Gardiner said, adding that they started clearing the scene around 4 a.m.

The first fire happened after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at a house in the 5200 block of West Heaps Road, according to Gardiner. Firefighters from York and Harford County handled that blaze, bringing it under control in a half hour, Gardiner said.
Nobody was injured in any of the cases, according to Gardiner. The Office of the Chief Fire Marshal was investigating.
