3 Hospitalized From Serious Churchville Crash, Officials Say

BREAKING: Part of MD 155 was closed from a crash that caused life-threatening injuries, authorities report.

CHURCHVILLE, MD — Three people were hospitalized Thursday morning following a serious crash in Churchville, authorities reported.

The two-vehicle crash occurred on MD 22 at MD 155 around 8 a.m., transportation officials said.

At least one person was trapped and had to be rescued from a vehicle, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

Two people were taken to a regional trauma center and one went to a local hospital with injuries that were believed to be life-threatening, Gardiner said.

Maryland State Police was investigating the collision.

As a result of the crash, state transportation officials said westbound Route 155 was closed at Route 22.
