3 Suspects Arrested In Theft Of $15K Vintage Acoustic Guitar
Police believe the 4 suspects have been involved in similar music instrument thefts elsewhere in Maryland and in New Jersey.
BEL AIR, MD — Police have arrested two young adults and one teen in connection to the theft of a $15,000 vintage acoustic guitar from Music Land.
Surveillance video shows four people going into the Music Land on Gateway Drive around 8:20 p.m. Feb. 10 and taking a 1947 Martin D-28 acoustic guitar from a display and concealing it before leaving the store. The store said no staff members were confronted or harmed during the incident, according to Bel Air Police.
On March 11, the four suspects were apprehended by Greenwich Police in Connecticut. The investigation indicates that the four individuals have been involved in similar music instrument thefts elsewhere in Maryland and in New Jersey, according to Bel Air Police.

The three suspects have been identified as:
- Ionut Kenzo Stoica, 18, of Roselle, New Jersey
- Milescu Alea Teodora, 19, of Roselle, New Jersey
- Unidentified juvenile from Middlesex, New Jersey
"Investigative findings indicate the individuals may be associated with a group involved in organized retail theft activity operating in multiple region," the police department stated.

The guitar stolen from Music Land in Bel Air has yet to be recovered. Police said the guitar has distinctive cracking on the back from a previous refinishing, along with a unique, identifiable serial number - 101862.
