3 Turf Fields Near Bel Air Get Upgrades

BEL AIR, MD — The synthetic turf field at Bel Air High School is being replaced and is nearly complete, according to Harford County Executive Barry Glassman. Bel Air's field is one of three getting upgrades at the moment, according to the county executive.
As the coronavirus pandemic created more downtime, the Harford County Department of Parks & Recreation began making upgrades to area fields.
The replacement in Bel Air started May 20 and will be complete this month, Glassman reported.

Work on the Cedar Lane Park field will begin this week and will be complete in October, according to Harford County officials.
The fields will include a shock pad that improves safety.
