4 Candidates Run For 3 Seats On Bel Air's Board of Commissioners
Bel Air residents will be voting Nov. 7 to elect officials to three seats on Bel Air's Board of Commissioners.

BEL AIR, MD — Residents will be voting Nov. 7 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. to elect officials to three seats on Bel Air's Board of Commissioners.
The Board of Town Commissioners consists of five members who are elected to four-year terms. At the second meeting in November of each year, the commissioners elect a member to serve as chair and vice chair of the Board of Town Commissioners. The chair has the honorary title of "mayor."
Residents can vote Nov. 7 at Bel Air Town Hall, 39 North Hickory Avenue, in Bel Air. Absentee ballot applications can be picked up at the Harford County Board of Elections, 133 Industry Lane, Forest Hill, or by calling (410) 638‐3565. The deadline to request an absentee ballot application by mail from the Harford County Board of Elections falls on Oct. 31 by 5 p.m. by mail or 11:59 p.m. by fax to (410) 638‐3310 or email to elections@harfordcountymd.gov.

After this deadline, applications and ballots must be picked up in person at the Harford County Board of Elections. Ballots must be postmarked or received at Bel Air Town Hall, 39 N. Hickory Avenue, Bel Air, on or before the close of the polls at 8 p.m. on Election Day.
Residents can drop off a voted ballot instead of mailing it by dropping off a ballot at Bel Air Town Hall. There will be a drop box positioned outside Town Hall from Oct. 10 through the close of polls on Election Day. Or ballots can be taken to the Department of Administration office during business hours, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Be sure an oath is signed or the ballot will not count.

The League of Women Voters of Harford County will host a Bel Air Municipal Election Candidate Forum on Oct. 12 at Bel Air Town Hall starting at 6:30 p.m.
The following individuals have completed the certificate of candidacy, financial disclosure statement, been approved by the Board of Ethics and paid the filing fee, thereby declaring their intent to run for the office of Town Commissioner in the upcoming election:
