5 Displaced In Abingdon Townhouse Blaze, Officials Say

The townhouse fire was reported Friday evening in Harford County.

ABINGDON, MD - Five people were displaced after a house fire in Abingdon Friday, according to officials.

The one-alarm blaze in the 200 block of Ferring Court broke out around 4 p.m., said Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.

It took crews about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control, Gardiner said.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
